Breton Dancers

©2008 D.M. Le Bris

My last posting was about Brittany's dramatic landscapes,
its mysteries and dark legends.
I wish I could share the Breton music and their dance with everyone.
I took this picture during a Breton festival.
The bagpipe music was haunting
and the dancing contagious.

Ah Danielle, I am sorry you are feeling frustration with your paintings. I suppose we all have been there. Maybe the best thing is to take a break from your studio for a bit. We all have been there to be sure. But I bet throwing that paint onto the canvas will make a huge difference, too! One never knows what the canvas wants us to make of it! And you know how that paint can be sometimes...like it has a mind of its own!

Hang in there. I will check back later to see how you are doing.

Hey! This is wonderful! I like the way you follow up your paintings with some of the supporting photographs of the area. I think it is always fun to see the things which inspire an artist, because your work is very inspiring.
