Gigiiiii! Now,isn't she lovely? What a beauty, Oscar sends her all his love!:) Thanks so much, Danielle, for this post, such a beautiful picture for Cats' Valentine. and thanks for your comments on my blog, I thought about you when I posted the Paris photos! One day we'll have a cup of coffee together (perhaps with Kim too?) somewhere in Paris, wouldn't that be nice, have a lovely day Andrea
Hi. I found you via Andrea's blog link to the Metaphor Group which sounds like it is disintegrating. I looked thru your larger and 2x2's. Lovely. I like your semi-abstract color focused mode of painting. You make the acrylic paint look like oils with your lush strokes and layers of color.
Where was your NOvember art show. Will you have another I can attend?? For the winter I am living in NH to help out w/my elderly mom. A longtime friend is an artist who lives in Nelson. Course I know Peterborough too which is where you say you decorate store windows. I love that painting by the way, the red cape and hat and the white bird on her shoulder.
No, we didn't go out last night, Danielle! But it was a lovely evening, really. I think we will celebrate the love this weekend with beautiful food.
I would ADORE meeting with the two of you in Paris for coffee and visits to museums and art shops! Count me in! Absolutely! I LOVE PARIS and FRANCE in general. I love the light for painting there...Normandy has lovely light.

Welcome to my Art Journal
In January 2007, I decided to paint every day. I began with 2" x 2" paintings then to the larger pieces displayed on this page. I became fascinated with these creations and I just could not wait for the next day to paint a new one, then two, then three.....I do enjoy the discipline of painting every day and the fact that at the end of the evening I have a number of completed works on my desk. To see the 2' X 2" miniatures click here.
Feel free to leave your comments. I'd love to hear from you. Just click on the comments link under the paintings. To send me an email go to my "complete profile".
