I made a fire in my wood stove.

I created this blue bird painting.

 I decided to play around with the wax layering effect...

I think this painting shows how the wax can create magical depth.

I have been fascinated by tapestries for many years 

and wanted to create a series recalling
that old decorative art form.

"Seafaring Tale"

This is the 4th version of the boy and the fish theme. 

I created them for a collector enthralled with the sea, 

nautical instruments and the boy on the fish. 

This collector finally chose the 12" x 9" version 

which is pictured further down the page.

Doing this theme exercise has made me look at ancient maps

and directed me toward a new series inspired by these old maps.
