Native American lore says 

if a cardinal crosses your path or attracts your attention, 

there may be a romantic relationship in your near future.

They are magnificent birds!

This is the first time that I include it in one of my paintings.

As the weather is getting colder

I am remembering warmer days!

I love hummingbirds flying in my yard 

during summer months!

I recreated that moment 

by creating this very decorative piece.

I smiled during the whole process.

The weather is getting cooler and 

for the first time, this fall, 

I made a fire in my wood stove.

Dreaming of Spring and Summer

I created this blue bird painting.

 I decided to play around with the wax layering effect...

I think this painting shows how the wax can create magical depth.
