I have always been fascinated by gardens
hidden behind walls.
I saw them
in France and in England as a child.
So much mystery!
In my studio, I
painted this encaustic painting
drawing upon my memories.
I used
encaustic (hot bee's wax and mixed media)
oil pigments, imagery,
drawing,
tree stamp/seal and many layers of wax.
